Hunter is the Founder and Managing Partner of Boxcar Capital Partners (BCP), which he established to invest beyond short-term trends and create lasting value in industrial real estate through meaningful partnerships and trust.

Over the past decade, Hunter has led development efforts on nearly 8 million square feet of industrial real estate and over 200 acres of Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS), representing more than $1 billion in capital deployment. His experience spans development, acquisitions, and asset management across the United States.

Prior to founding Boxcar Capital Partners, Hunter served as Vice President of Development for Realterm, an independent global investment manager focused on the transportation industry with $14 billion in assets under management. He previously served as Manager of Development Transactions for CenterPoint Properties Trust, one of the nation's leading privately held industrial REITs. He began his career in Ernst & Young's real estate consulting practice.

Hunter graduated from Indiana University and serves as an Advisory Board Member for the IU Center for Real Estate Studies. Outside of his professional work, he is an endurance athlete and Ironman finisher.
